06. building atrophy [23 Jun 2009|08:05pm]
I have a question for the Fates:

If, in life, Dementors sucked out your soul, would you still come here when your body died? As I assume we are here because we have souls, if it was taken away before a person died, would we be guaranteed not to see said person here?

[Regulus]
I require your presence.

[Pansy]
We should talk.

05. we're not going to sleep [04 Jun 2009|06:25am]
Dear God does anyone know how to write about something other than babies? These journals are like gossip columns, only much more violent, which is no easy feat when everything in them was an insult from one woman to another. Do we honestly need to hear violently about who is sleeping with who and the baby drama that's come of it? Please. It's not the end of the world if a degenerate has a screaming bundle of "joy" with someone else.

And I'm having a difficult time not saying "Serves you right, Draco".

04. don't belong to no one [23 May 2009|08:41pm]
We're allowed weddings in the afterlife? Does that also mean we're allowed divorces as well? And would the other person actually have to be here for that? Because I'd rather not ever have my husband here, nor do I want to spend eternity married to him. I think a divorce without my mother standing behind me saying "Oh my God Pearl what are you doing" sounds rather brilliant, myself.

03. we've still got time [07 May 2009|10:36am]
Oh Merlin, babies. Other than for the sake of carrying on the lines, why would you want them? Pansy, not that you weren't adorable at times, but some people are just not up to being a parent except when necessary. Although I, as well, wonder how this happened. Blood traitor, when you say our flesh is alive again, what exactly does that mean, other than the child thing, because children are the grail of the body and the most important thing.

[Regulus II]
Can I see you?

02. there's a clamour in your whispering [04 May 2009|01:35am]
Humans are such strange things. This one, for instance: The tiniest prick of blood and she faints. They are so weak, in both body and spirit, although this girl, this Pearl, does have quite the strong will. But her body is quite frail and I have worried much in the past few days about breaking it. Having a body such as this is odd in itself, as I am used to neither the frailty nor the confinement. We gods should be allowed more than just this imprisonment.

01. a fragment of light [01 May 2009|05:09am]
Pansy Lorea Parkinson, I will not hesitate to backhand you, should I find you here already and without a good explanation for why I had to cover up your death.

In other news, death is a curious thing. I suppose the age-old question of a life after death has been answered, so it would seem. I must admit though, that this wasn't quite what I expected, or how I expected to get here. I would have thought something more natural, or perhaps sinister, but not shock and stress at my daughter's stupid decisions.

00. larger than lifesize [01 May 2009|04:51am]
Something causing fear to fly
Rising like a dark night
In silence
Traveling like a broken boat
Heading for the sky
And I'm an island
I watched you disappear into the clouds
Swept away into another town
The world carries on without you
But nothing remains the same
I'll be lost without you
Until the last of days )
